Not sure it was ever intended to get as expensive as it did. SO habving it "drop" isn't a bad thing IMO. They all look like Shit anyways, so not worth anything more than any other armor.
Also with the new update coming out who wants the old armor anyways? Hopefuly the new stuff has a nice look, and isn't just the same old trash, then there will be nothing to spend money on. It will be like Diablo all over again where gold itself has no value and people will be trading in runes or upgrades.

I doubt this was on purpose other wise the game would not have lockdown. As to who ever corrected me, you are right the money that was spent will come back.
~ Also unless this turns out to have been on purpose whining about an exploit is not being angry at something we supposedly missed (I was in the game at the time) but at something we see as detrimental to the game. This will, in not rolled back, destroy the value of FOW.

theres talk about GW getting hacked or the server had a bad crash. I had spent nearly 200k on runes and shards, they both were at 250gp. rubies and saphs werer at 250 to 500gp got some of them also. Hopoe we keep it all. But now theres talk about a rollback on the server. If so we dont get to keep anything

By the way this = exploit, so don't brag about it.

What you are saying is that actually every minute ALL states of ALL GWplayers are backuped somewhere ?
I'd like to be the one that sells Anet their storing space... big bucks.
You offcourse realize this would mean a multiTerabyte storage to get states of say 1 day of all GWplayers maybe.....
i am curious though what Anet's response will be

lol and that quote good bye to all the money you wasted that is a real stupid thing to say. If it was to be rolled back which really aint possible cause in that time people could have got drops worth millions and it will be rolled back sure. If it was rolled back everyone would get there cash back anyway so wtf is that quote about.

Dont need to backup every minutes like that, but a backup right before an update hits live servers is very likely. imo

i thinks its a lockdown untill they solve the price crash.....i get back from school and get on forums to see what the err 13 is and find out that verythin is 250 gold and i cant log on. i wonder how this ones gonna get solved....maybe a rollback to like 4 hours ago? kinda like system restore on a PC, except its on the game account servers.

Server rollbacks are not unheard of....But usually not HUGE games like GW.
I would feel REALLY bad for people who are in the middle of a hard mission...and next day find themselves to not have finished the mission.

Locked out again... it's like a parade of error codes. I started with 13, got booted out of the game with a code 40, now can't get back in with a code 72. I feel like a police dispatcher. Also, apparently something was going on with the armor guys too, apparently the sentinel's armor showed up for trade, along with some other weird stuff.

I care you dipshit.
While I've been farming hard for the past 2 months some people here just logged in and in 45 minutes picked up 3 times worth what I've farmed under those 2 months. I wasted my time.
It's an exploit, it isn't fair, and if they don't reroll I'm gonna boycott.

it is not hard to mirror the server at all times and take incremental updates spaced out over a 30 minute window...maybe an hour...they can simply roll back the servers a few and boom...back to normal...
